- Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2018I love the new look of these compared to the Void. The headset hugs your ears so any movement will not send them flying. The ear cup quality is great and have not experienced any irritation. The microphone is also detachable and gives it a cleaner look. The battery run time is good and if it does need to be charged you can just plug in the charger and keep using them. Sounds quality is better than I expected. I use these for gaming and don't have problems with lag or hearing things in the surrounding environment. For $80 its a great headset for comfort and quality.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2019This headset is beautiful. My girlfriend and friends even commented on how nice it looked when they first saw it! That is something I can’t say for the much more gamer-oriented cloud stinger or turtle beach headset. That being said, it is not as comfortable as the $50 cloud stinger headset. It feels considerably tighter on my head and the ear pads create a wonderful seal for high quality audio and noise isolation but aren’t nearly as comfortable.
Battery life is decent. It would be lovely if they created a model that used QI charging and a matching stand; that way the headset would always be ready and functional. You can use it while it’s plugged in though and the cord is quite long.
Sound quality is good but heavy on the bass, which is very popular these days. Great if you want to play apex legends, pubg, or any other battle royale / FPS with your friends and hear everything.
The microphone quality is acceptable but not great. It is not something you will want to use to record presentations, podcasts, or anything else. Better than a webcam mic.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2018Honestly you can't do better for under 100 dollars. I have had corsair void wired headphones for 2 years and still no problems other than wanting some wireless. Now the Hs270 deliver same quality but wireless and have a pretty damn big range on them. They actually fit better than the Void and are a bit lighter. They do not come with the RGB features the Void does but they have a very minimalist appearance. The sound quality is very good and considering you won't have a 100 bucks in theses and they are wireless. They do have 7.1 option detachable mic. I really can't stress enough the quality of these headphones highly recommend if you are looking for a kick ass set of headphones That work with PC and PS4 pro flawlessly. I don't think they are compatible with Xbox could be wrong about that.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2021So I bought this headset almost 2 years ago and was so excited about them. Wireless corsair goodness was thrilling to get on such a value piece, and when I received them I was blown away. The sound was really good, I absolutely loved the build and the SE aesthetic which makes it look really classy, the mic quality was amazing, better than any headset mic I had used before, I never heard the low battery indicator for at least 2 weeks charging it regularly every 12-16 hours, even the fit was great for me, very comfortable during long sessions of work and play and considering I have complained about wireless headsets in the past being to heavy and hurting my neck this was great. I was really happy with them.
However, a few months after getting them (no more than 6 months had passed) the earpads started coming off, like the glue that kept them in place had failed. I was let down but I figured I could glue them back or even replace them (I had previously owned an HyperX Cloud 2 headset which actually came with an additional pair of replaceable pads so I even thought of checking if those fit since the feel in the ears is similar but that didn't work). I ended up gluing them back and extending their life for a few extra months when they started coming off again, this time with visible damage on the faux leather cover. I decided to glue them again, only for the battery to start failing a few days later.
This situation has gotten worse in the past year, where they no longer charge at all, they've become wired headset entirely as if I remove the cable they turn off. It's the third time the earpads have come off, which of course affects the noise isolation and surround performance, both of which were excellent points initially.
They only good thing I can still back up on them is the mic quality which I have loved for most of the time I've owned, not without a hiccup though, since after a few months people told me that there was an unbearable sound from my mic sometimes. This mostly happened when I touched any part of the mic which was uncomfortable since I was used to move the mic away when not speaking or removing the headset. I could hear some creaking when I moved the flexible part of the mic, and I believe that was the source of the noise. After a while it sort of smoothed out and the mic went back to it's flawless state.
Overall a weak experience, I've been researching a headset for my new build and I've seen some good reviews on these after all this time so I'm wondering if the V2 has solved some of these issues, but I haven't found a good comparison that touches on the points I mentioned. I'm definitely going with a different headset this time, but if you're still drawn to these corsair pieces I would recommend you get a wired version and replace with custom earpads as soon as you get them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for money
This is a very good headset for the price. The sound qaality is better than my previous headset and the build quality is solid, as soon as you unwrap it it feels solidly built.
My only negative is the detachable microphone. This is going to get broken or lost, especially the removable rubber cover for the socket. But overall that's a very minor quibble, this is a good product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bom headset

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Wireless Headphones.
These headphones are amazing! The materials are just perfect, with the premuim stitching at the headband and the soft memory foam earcups. Its very durable and will last for a while and is fairly lightweight. The sound quality is superb also. I love a heavier lower end and these headphones have an awesome low end while not giving up in the mids! The battery is good as well, but it runs out fairly quickly for me because I forget to charge them when I don't use them. My only complaint is the 7.1 surround sound, its not very good. It faked using software, but I only really use it for only 1 game, and 2 minutes in I forget about the sound downgrade that come with the surround sound. Honestly these are amazing so if you are considering these headphones, but them, especially over the Arctis 7 because those were horrible.

1.0 out of 5 stars UPDATED REVIEW - why did I spend nearly 200$ on these?
Have now had these half a year and I’m already looking into getting new ones. These are my second pair of headphones from Corsair and I won’t be purchasing from this company again. The first pair I owned was a more affordable (previous) model, and the microphone snapped off like it was connected by elmer’s glue. Replaced it with this one because I thought it would be a better investment. But alas, this one has way too many cons than pros.. especially for how much they ask for it.
Pros:
- decent sound. But the sound on my old, cheap razor headset is just as good if not better.
- mic is good, doesn’t pick up background noises. No complaints there. To others, I sound fine.
- LOOKS nice.
Cons:
- range of like, 5 feet. I wish I were kidding but it’s ridiculously short. I can’t even lie on my bed while watching a show from my monitor.. this was really frustrating considering with the previous model I could go all the way upstairs and still be connected. Like ... what??? How is this an upgrade??
- Battery life. At first the life was great and dandy and would last all day (I’ve always worked from home) before needing a charge. Now half a year in, it hardly lasts 5-6 hours. I’m worried that’ll just keep going down, too.
- Ear muffs are too small... I’m a 5” girl and these somehow smoosh them. By the time I take them off, they’re stinging and sore.
- Constantly shutting off. Yep, by the way- if you were to go out of range, you’re lucky if they don’t auto shut off. No way to fix this, just a thing.
- Terrible “iCue” program that doesn’t help to manage software/troubleshoot your headset.
- at this point in time, my mute button on the side of the headset no longer works, so there’s that.
Maybe don’t waste your money on this.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELENTES....
