Great IEMs but delicate
I bought these headphones while looking for a cheap pair of IEMs that had a microphone/play pause attachment that I could leave in my backpack and use with my phone on the go.It's been used exclusively on my Droid X running various versions of Android 2.0-2.3.The Microphone and Play/PauseSince this was my main reason for buying this set, I wanted to write a little. The microphone worked fine in the stock dialer apps, I didn't dry it with any others. The Play/Pause button worked for me in Winamp and the stock music app.Unfortunately, this past week (after 9 months of pretty regular use) the plastic enclosure holding the microphone and button has busted open (picture attached). My guess for how this happened would be due to the oval shape of the enclosure. Any sort of rotational torque placed on the two opposing strands of cable can result in popping the enclosure open. It's held together by 4 plastic nubs that click into 4 holes, and it looks like during the first opening, one of the nubs broke. The plastic enclosure itself is what holds the two sides of the cable together because the wires must be exposed to attach to the circuit board that holds the microphone and the button, so with the plastic enclosure compromised, the headphones are extremely delicate.Note that for the better part of a semester I did keep these rolled up in my backpack (in a separate pocket) and used them a few times a week. They were a cheap pair and I'm not heartbroken and will probably get another when I see a good price. In the mean time I'll just superglue the halves back together and move on with my life. There are other far more detailed reviews on the technical and sound aspects of these headphones. I'll just echo how much I like the sound isolation/comfort and sound quality. A great portable pair of headphones

I waited the whole week just to get these, I was REALLY exited to see if what everyone has been saying was even true, and so it was.

The version I got was a M9P With a box with Purple and black, different than what I have seen. The box is nice.

Now, onto the review. This thing comes packed with a Carrying case, 2 double flanged eartips, one is black and one is grey ( From what I have seen the grey are "Balanced sound". I tried them out and it is more balanced than the other eartips but there is less bass), and small, medium, and large olive type eartips. Mine did not come with an airplane adapter but who cares. It had a cable wrap to wrap the cable around because the cable is very long, but honestly it sucks and doesn't do a great job at holding the cable together without coming off. The case is very handy and nice and has a hard shell on it with a pocket on the side.

Not onto the actual headphones. The wire on in is very nice! It seems very sturdy and seems like it will hold up to some beating , but it has alot of memory to it ( If you bend it for a long time it will take a while for it to straighten up). The actual plug is at a 45 Degree angle and is very nice. The Mic on the headphones works surprisingly well and the button and Mic works both on my Samsung Captivate (Which has TRRS connector which has a inverted ground and Mic ) And my dad's iPhone. It does not have volume control which is no biggie. The headphones itself have a very nice aluminum housing, and a good stress relief for the wire. Overall for this price it is a steal for these features.

Now to the sound quality itself. I am an avid listener to music such as Techno, 8bit, and Alternative music and I find these very very good for the price! The headphones sit comfortably well in your ears one you find your right ear-tips but I do notice sometimes it feels as if the headphones are sucking on your ears. The sound isolation is like every other IEM out there, its not like noise cancelling headphones, these are like earplugs. Ok. NOW to sound quality. The bass is Very very good, the bass is so loud I had to turn it down in my equalizer to make it comfortable to listen to.I was extremely satisfied with the bass response on these things especially for the price. The mids/vocals are slightly low but I also had to turn it up in my equalizer nothing too special here. Now the Highs are a little too harsh and gets slightly distorted especially on high notes and crashes, but also had to turn it down on the EQ. Now, if you don't have a graphic equalizer on your device, like an iPod or iPhone, it might be a slight problem. I have not burned these in yet but will later on. Overall the sound quality on these are very good for the price and all the extras you get in the box!

I will post a video review in the future and post some pictures later on once I think these hold up to the test of normal everyday listening.

    Thank you MEelectronics!!!!!

P.S. If your pair sucks for some reason, MEelectronics Quality control does suck, so just contact them at their website to get another pair . I heard their customer service is great so just do that instead of complaining about it because mine are perfect out of the box.

I am not one to write reviews if something breaks i normally suck it up and buy something new , as a matter of fact this is the first negative review ive ever written and it took 4 pairs of these buds for me to break down and write it.
Sound quality : pretty decent , the bass is great , mids and highs get a little washed out from the bass but overall not a bad bud
Customer service : great , very helpful and are always there for you
Quality : Very bad !!!!!!!!! ( at least in my experience)Im a very active person , alot of running and alot of training 6x a week so i sweat alot , after the first 2 buds died the rep told me its because of sweat , each pair lasted 1-2 months ... well then came the 3rd and 4th , i no longer ran with them and purchased a $10 pair of skullcandy buds to run in , after a few months one of the ears went bad and also the speaker phone stopped working so the 3rd pair was replaced , well now im on my 4th pair and after a few months the headset changes my iphone volume randomly , changes songs randomly, the speaker phone option didnt work when MEE sent it out to me which leads me to believe they are sending me refurbished buds , you pretty much cant even listen to them without random weird things happening ..... i dont even know what to say after all this , ive never had an experience like this with any product .. I would call MEE and im sure they will gladly exchange it but im not sure i even want a 5th pair , its actually starting to frustrate me.....The worst part of all this is my $10 skull candy buds are still running strong after 6 months of being worn every day in my workouts and actually accompanied me in 2 marathons ...
    Im just disappointed

First, I don't claim nor care to be, an "audiophile" but I do enjoy music and listen to it often. I can also appreciate "good" sound quality. However, I'm not willing to pay much for it. ($100 max) As with all In Ear Monitors, fit is paramount, and unless you are among the unfortunate few that the provided fittings won't accommodate, you'll be dialed as fast as you can pick out a pair that fits. I think they include four sets. If you think you have a balance issue, be sure to swap sides to test, as it very well could be a fitment issue instead. Microphonics are average for passive, noise isolating IEM's. The better they isolate, the better they sound, and consequently the stronger the microphonics, at least with this model. I suppose one of the trade-offs of having a durable cable set is an increased stethoscope effect. Perhaps someone will eventually come up with a better cable housing material and resolve this once and for all. But until then, simply routing the cable over your ear completely eliminates all microphonics. I'm happy that these are available at this price point. They sound good to me, warm and full bass, decent mids and highs. I've burned them in for about 30 hours now and honestly can't tell the difference from new, and highly doubt I will notice a difference after the frequently prescribed 40 hours. Construction and overall design is very nice. A solid 4 in everything but price, where I gotta give them a 5. I simply cannot fault them for anything at thirty bucks retail. I personally find that my life is more enjoyable not fretting over $300 ear phones.

edit: These did not seem to be compatible with my Android device; a Samsung Captivate. Callers heard a very distracting echo of their own voice. This seemed to be somewhat intermittent for some, but you never knew until they'd scream in your ear to "get rid of that (expletive) Bluetooth!" (they all assumed it was a wireless thing) Additionally, I'm in a dry climate and the resulting static gave the pause button fits. Simply walking around caused media to stop constantly, all on it's own. I had no idea how to rectify this (and the mic issue) so I gave up and went with the Meelec R1, which has no mic/pause button. Btw, the R1's sound even better, if you're curious. My experience with Meelec's customer service was extremely positive, having received replacements very quickly, and I got the impression they wouldn't be satisfied until I was.

3.0 out of 5 stars a good earphone choice for sports
Reviewed in Canada on May 3, 2016
Pros: build quality, tip selection and accessories (carrying case and shirt clip)
Cons: sound quality- lacking in clarity but solid bass and decent soundstage, flat cable works well in theory but introduces microphonics

All in all, a good earphone choice for sports, but for causal use or discerning audio enthusiasts (in which case, why are you looking at budget earphones anyways), there's much better picks out there like the the Xiaomi pistons, Monk Ve's, etc. Unless you need built-like-a-tank earphones, causal users should probably be looking into something more fidelity oriented like the JVCs.

Also, though probably not sold in Canada, but the Audio-technica sport 3's completely blow this out of the water; with a substantial boost in sound quality, the ability to be washed and better fit for large ears (albeit at the cost of smaller tip selection).

4.0 out of 5 stars I don't like spending a lot of money on headphones
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 4, 2016
I don't like spending a lot of money on headphones, I never have, and I never will. That said, I consider myself a bit of an audiophile. I'm by no means an expert and I don't pretend to be one. But I know quality when I hear it. That said, I do use Viper4Android (an audio driver for rooted android devices) and I also have flashed an Audio Mod. So, take my review with a pinch of salt.

I owned the M21s a few years back, and they rank as all time favourite In-Ears, nothing has ever come close to beating it (in my opinion) I knew then that MEElectronics is a company I should keep my ears out for. After the loss of my M21s (drunken night) I owned a few varying In-Ears. For the last two I've varied slightly between Sonys' MDR-EX series. In particular the EX-100s and EX-110s. They bizzarely cheap and are great quality. In comparison, the M9Ps do outshine them. That said, they don't compare to my beloved M21s. I know that I can't physically compare them right now, but I just know this.

These are a GREAT pair of In-Ears. They fit snugly, quality is great, and the fact that the price is so low, just makes music sound all the more sweeter. Great work MEElectronics!

3.0 out of 5 stars Though they were not bad at all
Reviewed in India on January 1, 2016
For the price mentioned, earphones were not upto expectations. Though they were not bad at all, but there are better alternitives at this price.

Fit- 2/5( they will stay in place for about 5-10 mins and you'll have to push them back occasionally)
Sound- 3/5( Again, i would say sound is not bad, but its not best either. Bass is punchy but treble is not good. Sound is not as clear as other earphones in this range)
Quality-4/5( though plastics may not be as good as expected but earphones seem durable. Flat wire doesn't gets tangled easily)
Accessories-5/5( there are variety of earbuds, shirt clip and pouch)

Bottomline- Audiophiles may not like it. Sound quality is not as good. I have bought meelectronis sport-fi m3p as well and using both of them for quite sometime. They both seem to be at same level, speaking in terms of sound quality. But at 700 and memory wire they seem better choice. For those who are not bass-heads, they can try xiaomi in ear earphones. Way better treble, with respectable bass at price of 1000/-.
