In brief, all the elements of this package deal are good: solid videos with enough challenge you don't get bored too fast, a high quality yoga-style workout mat, and great little & large workout balls. I particularly like the small green balls: they are easy to control and grip but add substantial weight and interest to the workouts. They are two very nice bits of equipment, unlike others I've found.

I love traveling with the inflatable big ball. The pump is lightweight but hasn't given me any problems. Yes, the ball takes a bit of time to inflate, but I think of it as a warm-up. It flattens nicely in a suitcase, and is sturdy enough rubber that it can handle repeated inflation, deflation, and suitcase crushing. Maybe it's the child in us all, but there's a reason workout balls are popular: they're fun!

    Pretty darn good.

It lost a star because the green Versaball this system comes with is too small for me, and I can only imagine that most other people would find it too small as well (I'm about 5'3"). So when it comes to the standing exercises that start off the BLT workout, I had to switch to a bigger ball. The ball does come with a chart with all sorts of exercises to do with it, which is handy, because even if you wind up getting a different ball you can still use these exercises.

Otherwise, everything else is spot on. The little weighted balls are perfect -- if they're too big for your hands, it doesn't matter because they're filled with sand and mold to the shape of your hands. These also come with little charts (and I mean little; it's actually kind of hard to read the words from any kind of starting position for an exercise. Best know what the chart says before you start).

The mat is basically just a mat. My feet start to slide on it a little doing the PM exercises, and my dog wanted to lick it straight out of the box, but what do you want? It does its job.

The videos are wonderful workouts. I was afraid, after reading another reviewer's criticism that at first the AM workout was a little too fast, that I wouldn't be able to keep up, but I found them to be just the right pace. The PM is a lot of stretching, with some yoga-like stuff and abs work thrown in for good measure. The BLT is a short, invigorating workout -- when she said the workout was over, I scratched my head and said, "That's it?" I've probably never said that about the end of a workout before.

My only minor complaint about the DVDs is that they do a few cheesy cuts to grainy, fast, hyper colored or black and white colored bits, or they film the display monitor used during filming, so we're seeing her do the exercise through a monitor on a monitor. I figure once I know the exercises well enough, I won't have to look at the screen often enough for it to bother me.

After purchasing from a few different companies, Karen Voight is definitely one of the best qualitied ones out there.

In terms of the ball, I like the TEXTURE of the TKO Cory Everson Fitness Ball a lot more than this one, though the KV ball is far from being low quality. I do have to agree with the previous review(s) that it is pretty sticky and hard to clean.

I love the green genies. It looks better out of the box than on the picture, which is rare for pretty much anything. They are a lot better quality than my last purchase, the Nautilus 2 pound balls (the KV balls are 3 pounds each) and these are a lot more solidly built. They look very good, too.

The mat is of good quality. Not the top of the line, but definitely worth the money you pay for.

I'd have to disagree with a previous review about the "flimsy" pump that came with it. My last few purchases came with even more flimsy pumps, so I considered this a great pump. It doesn't get heat up so much while inflating the ball, and it took less than 30 minutes at a not-so-fast rate to inflate the ball. The pump is very well-designed, in my opinion.

I'd not pay more than $25 dollars for it (total, with shipping and tax, etc) though. In fact, I'd not pay over $20 for it, idealy.

really love the balls. for lifting and for rolling knotted muscles over. to roll out the tension that is stuck from too much exercising. My idea. not a part of Karen's system.

This workout system is not bad if you pay 25-30$ for it. It's not worth $99. Yoga mat is just regular yoga mat. Gennie balls are cool, 3 pounds each. You can do your own exercise with them. Two DVD are not of the highest quality, can't FF or RW. There are two exercise on one of the DVD's, one for PM one for AM. AM is energizing, and PM is relaxing. Exercise on the ball is not for begginers.

In a nutshell, if you want to loose weight and don't want to spend time in a gym, this system could help you loose unwanted pounds.

i am pleased with the equipment that came with this. a yoga mat, 2 green genies, and the ball/pump seem like a bargain for $30 and free shipping. the dvd's are okay. for me, i found the AM to be very complicated and i had a hard time keeping up with all of her moves and combinations. it is pretty fast paced and i found it hard to follow. i watched it all the way through before i tried it, and i will have to try a few more times to see if i can get the hang of it. the PM was easier to follow and my abs were sore the next day. i just tried the BLT and found a lot of the moves to be intense if i could keep up, but was short and will likely be a workout that i use to start the day and target these areas. overall, i did like karen voight. she is in incredible shape and is very straightforward in her delivery. i had been working out regularly before i bought this, but was looking for ways to add to the program. she has a lot of dvd choices so there is something for everyone if you enjoy her style. i also use and recommend gunnar peterson and joyce vedral. again, for the equipment alone i found it to be a great deal.
